About Carol Spackman Moss
A proven leader, Carol represents her community on key committees – Education, Transportation, Retirement, and Administrative Rules, as well as the Education Task Force and the Governor’s Education Excellence Commission. She also served for six years in caucus leadership as Assistant Democratic Whip.
Before running for office, Carol taught English for 33 years at Olympus High School, a career in which she excelled and one that has given her a unique understanding of education from a teacher’s perspective. Her academic credentials include a B.A. and M.A. in English, and an Educational Administration Certification from the University of Utah.
Carol and her husband Bob are the proud parents of six children and grandparents of six wonderful grandkids, from 11 to 24. They love spending time with family, traveling, reading, cycling, and, of course, politics.
